What is it?
Baby explorers is a programme led by an early help 0-10 worker that offers a wide variety of experiences to help stimulate a baby’s development and provide parents with knowledge to support their child’s development in the first few months.
Who is it for?
Baby explorers is for babies aged approximately 0-6 months and their parents/carers.
How many sessions are there?
Baby explorers runs for 5 weeks per block.
How can I access the activity?
Please contact your local children’s centre to book a place.
What will my child get out of the sessions?
Baby explorers aims to develop your baby’s all round development by building strong foundations. Activities and experiences include treasure baskets, messy play, songs and rhymes and baby massage as well as information on introducing solid foods and accident prevention (including a first aid taster).
What will I get out of the sessions?
You will gain knowledge in supporting your baby’s development through a range of stimulating activities and experiences as well as getting useful information and ideas for how you can further enhance your child’s development at home.
