Cycling Projects - Wheels for All
Cycling Projects has brought cycling into many people's lives since it was registered as a charity in 1991. Since it started, we have become increasingly involved in cycling related training, bringing cycling to disabled people, encouraging people with poor health to take up cycling and working with excluded communities to help them make cycling part of their lives.
Our vision is to ensure that cycling is accessible to all. Our two main programmes are Health on Wheels and Wheels for All.
Our Health on Wheels programme is designed to get people on their bikes and get active. If you are recovering from illness or just haven’t been doing much exercise we can help you to get involved in cycling and see how easy and enjoyable it can be. Working with referred clients, we can create a package of cycling activities and are there at every step to support each individual. Please contact the number below for specific times of this programme.
Wheels for All develops cycling activities for those people with disabilities or differing needs. It gives individuals, carers and support staff the knowledge and confidence to work with adapted cycles for their clients or family member so that all can enjoy the benefits of cycling in a sociable environment. We even provide the adapted cycles so everyone can get involved.
Cycling Projects also offers Wheels for All Leader Training along with support and assistance, and are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact them on the number provided.
