Becky & Jon Curtis - Childminder

Ofsted registered childminder

Childcare and Paediatric 1st Aid trained - catering for your child's needs.

We are a husband and wife team and have both been registered childminders for 20 years, we are qualified to NVQ3 in Early Years Care & Education, members of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) and qualified in Paediatric and Emergency First Aid.  We have our own two children, aged 15 and 13 who are very much like older siblings to all the children in our care.

Due to us being a husband and wife team, the children have male and female role models whilst in our care.  Every child is unique and we get to know each one personally, spending one-on-one time with them, forming close relationships and strong bonds.  This in turn enables us to provide for the needs of each individual child, ensuring everyone has the same opportunity to experience and achieve.

Our setting is a fun family environment where children can thrive through play and exploration with a range of children of different ages along with our extensive range of toys and equipment.

Our aim is to provide a happy, friendly, supportive and loving environment that is also fun, stimulating, educational, challenging and secure, in which your children will thrive: growing in confidence; developing independence; gaining new skills; experimenting with new tastes; learning co-operation; discovering the world around them.

We live in Stockton Heath, minutes from a large pond populated with ducks and swans, a park, Stockton Heath Library, St Thomas’ School and the village itself.

We are able to offer funded hours for those who are eligible and can work in partnership with other settings to provide this. We also accept payment via the Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

We have spaces coming up for a range of ages so please get in touch if you'd like to meet us and see our setting.
